Have you noticed most Twilight fans aren't well read?

At my school over half the girls are absolutely in love with Twilight but I have noticed something rather shocking about these girls who claim Twilight is the best book ever to be in existence, they haven't actually read anything else except Twilight on their own, sure they read class assignments but that's only what 5 books a year and most of them aren't either well known or you can hardly understand them. But I have found that the most arguemenative people when you say you don't like Twilight are the people who haven't actuallly read other books so they can't make a real arguement. It's actually rather amusing/ frustrating at the same time because it's amusing to mess with their heads when your ask them why they love Twilight and discredit all their examples like if you ask, what makes Edward and Bella such a great couple? they probably say because they're soul mates and are so in love! well my usual reply is How do you know they're soul mates and how are they in love? because i don't consider extreme lust mixed in with posssession, obsession and stalking is a great recipe for love, just saying. but it's also frustrating because they refuse to see reason when you explain why you think everything is not the greatest thing ever and is fairly pathetic even when you use logical explanations and point out things they missed in the book or the deeper meaning behind some action they didn't understand. Some of the people who work their hardest to convince me twilight is the most amazing book ever are some of the biggest idiots i have ever read who don't listen to logic, i even have a bet with one saying Harry Potter and the 1/2 blood Prince the movie is going to make more money then Twilight Movie, she disagreed and said that the twilight movie will break box office records when i believe it actually didn't make that much money(Madagascar 2 made more money) and I said the new Harry Potter movie will make more then Twilight but not break box office records. Since they moved the realese date of Harry Potter i will have to wait but i am getting ready to colllect the easiest 20 bucks i ever made, hey i warned her Harry Potter had a more wide spread fanbase but no she didn't listen, oh well, but i'm getting off topic. Anyways I conclude that the more a person is in love with Twilight the less that person has read of other books. There may be exceptions but this is the general rule.
