Gay Marriage

I believe that there shouldn't be a vote on if we should be allowed to have gay marriage, it should be a right. I don't remember in history being taught of people voting for straight marriage. Why should this be any different? Look up Prop8 the Musical and it pretty much sums up all the good that can come with good marriages, for instance it could help our economy and put forth an era of human understanding and love. Not to mention equal rights for all the people of this nation, no matter your race, gender, age, religion and sexual orientation, etc...
